Sreekanth Kurva

Born in 1968 in Hyderabad, Sreekanth Kurva did a B.F.A. from the College of Fine Arts at the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and an M.F.A. in Printmaking from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the M.S. University of Baroda .Kurva has become an expert in water colour and collage. His works are simple, single and prominent. They are stylized, direct, strong and demanding. His works always have cocks, bulls or roosters – he has carved his identity.
