Radhika works in oil as well as watercolors. Her strength lies in her realistic rendering of everyday things in life. She takes inspiration from the people and objects that she sees around her. Her control of shade and light gives a wonderful depth to her work making it seem extremely real.
“Growing up in a very creative environment In Gorakhpur, India, I began painting as a kid. With all its colors and activity, mother nature inspired me to paint my perspective. After my high school studies, this hobby turned into passion and became the turning point in my life. My wonderful and creative journey as an artist began. I attained education in arts and continued to grow as an artist. After marriage, I moved to Mumbai, where I was immensely encouraged by my husband and children to take up painting seriously.
In the course of my journey I have done several group exhibitions, and have been awarded by reputed persons.”
