Rachana Darda

“The intricate pen art helps me articulate the course of life and joy of sharing.”

Rachana began her career as a fashion designer in 2003 and in the ensuing 5 years, was sought after by the topmost boutiques across the country. After her two children were born a new passion for travel navigated her creative pursuits and she soon became an established photographer. Rachana showcased her photographs at the two exhibitions “Pilot” and “Brown” in Mumbai in 2017.

Her advanced diploma in Textile, Graphics and Fashion designing honed her basic art skills, which ultimately led her to take up the intricate pen art. Covid-19 pandemic gave Rachana the opportunity to create a portfolio of original pen art titled “Untamed Lines”, which she exhibited at India’s most prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai in August 2022.
