Nilesh Bharti
Born in 1984 in Nasik, Nilesh Bharti completed his G.D. in Art and painting from the Nasik School of Art and Diploma. He then proceeded to earn an A.ED. From The Sir J.J School of Art, Mumbai. From his early days Nilesh was very interested in Landscape painting. He has always been very experimental with his landscapes, through which he depicts the lives of a common man. He has worked on a number of works which show the divine temples of his hometown Nasik.Nilesh uses dry pastel and charcoals as his medium of choice which is very effective in an impact which is unique and beautiful. Nilesh has mastered the art of using this rare medium to create his art which is what makes his works stand out from other artists. Nilesh has been awarded numerous awards, the most recent being when he won the 1st prize in Bombay Art Society’s 2010 award for the Best Landscape painting. The artist has been a part of many solo and group shows within the country and his paintings adorn the houses of many collectors both in and out of the country.The artist lives and works in Nasik.
