Jehangir Jani

Born in 1955, Jani is a self-taught artist, An accountant by profession Jehangir Jani, took up art full-time when he was 33 Jani does not tie his brush to any particular style. His style is not governed or restricted by any school of thought, other than his own inspiration. It has been arrived at by a process of elimination..Jani works with different medium like sculptures, ceramics, fibreglass and sheet metal and has participated in several group and solo exhibitions. He has also conducted workshops in terracotta. His most recent exhibition was of works in fibreglass and sheet metal, evocatively titled. ‘Stories’. Jehangir Jani lives and works in Mumbai.
